“The project is inspired by the success of the University of Manchester’s ‘Design Unit’ project which was established to handle the needs of the university for a professional graphic design service."

Case Studies
Enterprise for Inclusion supported new-start and existing social enterprises and voluntary organisations and social enterprises who wished to further develop their activities by using enterprise-based approaches. The organisations and projects supported included a wide range of activities, organisational objectives, legal forms and stages of development. Most were relatively small organisations operating at the local level. The major groups which the projects sought to benefit were those with disabilities, low income households, lone parents and those with lack of access to transport. This website provides an insight into the diversity and richness of the 98 projects supported.
